Who can sign up at VGIG?

We welcome all Singaporeans & PRs above 18 years old who believes he/she has a talent or skill set to earn an income. All other nationalities are excluded for the time being.

How are my personal information protected?

During sign up, you will be directed to read our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before you click the “Register” button.

In a nutshell, VGIG undertakes to use a secured platform and will not give your personal info to 3rd parties.

What are the service fees to pay VGIG?

VGIG will take a 10% service fee for each completed transaction. This is deducted from the buyer’s payment before VGIG transfers your money to your bank account.

As with all online marketplaces, VGIG requires to charge this service fee on all payments to keep our platform running, paying for business operation costs such as website hosting, secure payment systems and support services.

We are also utilising the fees to continue improving our webapp and to develop a mobile app that will bring better user experience and convenience to our valued customers and users.

I realised I do not have any talent or skill set. What can I do?

You need to identify an interest or passion for you to develop a skill that you can use to earn money for yourself.

You may consider the following options:

1. My SkillsFuture (over 1,000 courses on F&B & over 500 on arts & entertainment)

2. OnePA (over 10,000 classes available)

3. Udemy

I am under an employment contract. Can I still offer my products & services at VGIG?

We fully understand the need for a supplementary income hence we would welcome you as our sellers. However, you should be upfront with your employer and have their blessing.

VGIG takes no responsibility with your application so long as you adhere to our Terms of Service and Singapore law & regulation.

I have signed up successfully but I am not approved as a Seller. Why?

VGig is currently at a beta-testing stage. We are working with a small selected group of sellers, to work out the kinks in our newly-developed system.

Once we are ready, we will contact you and work with you to list your products/services.

I do not have any delivery arrangement for my products, what should I do?

There are 2 options for sellers : customers self-collect or delivery to door steps.

Self-Collection

  1. Indicate in your Product Description that you are offering Self-Collection only, and the period of time available for Self-Collection.
  2. To avoid making a wasted trip in an event of unforeseen circumstances from you, customers may contact you to arrange up-front.

Delivery

  1. You may look for your own delivery logistic or search for a deliveryman in our VGig platform.
  2. All transactions shall be between you & the deliveryman. VGig takes no responsibility in event of mis-delivery or damaged products.
What are the requirements for F&B sellers?

We place great emphasis on food hygiene and safety for our sellers and our buyers.

If you are selling your food & beverages on VGIG, please adhere to the food safety guidelines under the Home-based Small-Scale Business Scheme provided by HDB and URA.

What are the available methods of payment?

There are two methods of payments:

  1. VGIG’s recommended method is PayNow. Kindly take note this will incur a payment processing fee on & after 01 July 2022, subject to change.
  2. Debit or credit cards (Visa & Mastercard only) – Not offered at the moment.
I have some questions regarding an order (including special requests), what should I do?

You may use the Chat function to ask the product seller or service provider.

Kindly take note that he/she may take some time to reply to your questions.

How do I check my Order Status?

To check the your Order status, login and go to My Orders and look for your order. Here are the respective status:

  • Order Confirmed : The order is confirmed.
  • Order Cancelled : The seller has cancelled the order and you will receive a full refund.
  • Order Completed : Items have been delivered and the order is completed.
I changed my mind about my order (or I want a refund), what should I do?

A refund can only be allowed in any of the following conditions:

  1. If the product you ordered is not produced yet.
  2. If the service you ordered is not provided yet.
  3. The product seller allows it.

It will not be a full refund as we will charge an administrative fee of 10% for the cancelled order.

I wish to report a problem with my delivery, what should I do?

You may use the Chat function to ask the product seller or service provider.

Kindly take note that he/she may take some time to reply to your questions.

How quickly can I engage the gig service?

This will be subjected to the availability of the service provider, thus you may indicate in the Chat function if you requires the service on a specific date or you are willing to pay a premium for an expedited service.

Once both of you reaches an agreement, you can then click the “Accept” button to initiate a transaction before we will inform the service provider.
